EUGENE (CORPORATE LAW AND GOVERNANCE PLATFORM)

In the BNP Paribas' transformation hub BivwAk! I drove the UX design process as part of a Scrum team, for the corporate governance reporting tool of BNP Paribas.
The goal was to deliver and internationally deploy the MVP in all BNP Paribas group entities concerned by the governance reporting on members of the management bodies and to ensure that the 800 entities adopt this user-centered and self-explanatory tool that really eases the reporting derived from CRD IV (Capital Requirements Directive IV) requirements.
01 CHALLENGE
Create a self-explanatory tool to guide and simplify governance reporting

The wide variety of user types was one of the main challenges for our product. From the boss to the junior employee, from the expert lawyer to someone with less knowledge, our interview results guided us to build a contextual help panel offering key information, resources and examples.
Another example of an iteration based on user input:
Initially we planned to only make the form editable over a specific period, but we learned that the questionnaire should be accessible throughout the year to account for incremental modifications.
02 USER RESEARCH
Translate diverse user needs to a well guided and simplified user experience

↑ Summary of the first round of user interviews

Recognizing the complexity and tedium of governance reporting for lawyers, I crafted an intuitive interface with cheerful graphics, aiming to make the legal work not just efficient but also enjoyable.
Being an internal tool, I had the flexibility to prioritize user engagement over strict adherence to the BNP Paribas graphic charter, allowing for a more creative and playful design approach. I therefore created a logo and a specific visual identity for the product.
03 BRAND DESIGN
Goodbye to dry spread-sheets, welcome to an engaging user experience
